Music & Arts Ministries

Since we serve a creative God, we celebrate creativity through music and the arts.  These ministries help support our Traditional and modern Thrive services as well as special events, concerts, and classes.

Traditional Music

Chancel Choir

Our choir is a vital part of our traditional music ministry here at Hueytown First.  We are made up of about 20 volunteer singers who love to sing each week in our service.  We always welcome any new singers and our rehearsals are 7pm Wednesday in our choir room (East Main Entrance) and on Sunday mornings at 8:30am.

Our handbell choir is made up of about a dozen players that present special music at many of our traditional worship services as well as other special events throughout the year.  We always welcome any new players and rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 6pm.
